Assam State Lottery: 12 Series, 3 PM Draw, Prizes and Rules
Updated · Assam Lottery Result

The Assam State Lottery is the daily lottery of Assam, known to many people as the Bodoland lottery. This guide explains it from the start: the 12 series, the 03:00 PM draw, the six prizes, what is printed on a ticket, what the law says, how tax and claims work, and the scams to avoid. We are an information website only. We sell no tickets and we are not part of the Assam State Lottery.
What the Assam State Lottery is
The Assam State Lottery is a paper-ticket lottery with one draw time a day. On the result lists we read, twelve series are published at 03:00 PM IST, every day of the week. Each series is a separate draw with its own winning numbers.
You will hear it called by more than one name. “Bodoland lottery” is the most common other name, and “Assam lottery” is the short form. All of them mean the same 03:00 PM draw and the same numbers. The Bodoland lottery result page explains that name in more detail.
A lottery is a game of pure chance. No method, chart or person can tell you which number will win. Each draw starts fresh, and what came up yesterday has no effect on what comes up today. Keep that in mind whenever someone offers you a “tip”.
Assam State Lottery: 12 series, one 3 PM draw
The twelve series are Dear, Rosa, Kuil, Future, Singam, Abble, Thangam, Nallaneram, Kumaran, Swarnalaxmi, Vishnu and Lion. They all share the 03:00 PM time, but each has its own sheet. A ticket only counts in the series whose name is printed on it.
| Series | Draw time | Prizes per series |
|---|---|---|
| Dear | 03:00 PM IST | 132 |
| Rosa | 03:00 PM IST | 132 |
| Kuil | 03:00 PM IST | 132 |
| Future | 03:00 PM IST | 132 |
| Singam | 03:00 PM IST | 132 |
| Abble | 03:00 PM IST | 132 |
| Thangam | 03:00 PM IST | 132 |
| Nallaneram | 03:00 PM IST | 132 |
| Kumaran | 03:00 PM IST | 132 |
| Swarnalaxmi | 03:00 PM IST | 132 |
| Vishnu | 03:00 PM IST | 132 |
| Lion | 03:00 PM IST | 132 |
Many series names are Tamil words. Thangam means gold, Singam means lion, Kuil is close to “cuckoo” and Nallaneram means “good time”. Singam and Lion share a meaning but are two different series with different numbers. The same care applies to Swarnalaxmi and Thangam, which both point to gold.
With 132 winning numbers in each series, one draw day holds 1,584 winning numbers in all. The page for each of the twelve series shows its latest result and how it has run over time.

How an Assam State Lottery ticket works
A ticket is a small printed slip. The front tells you which draw it belongs to and which number you hold. The back carries the rules, including how to claim a prize. Read both sides before the draw, not only after it.
| Part of the ticket | What it tells you | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Series name | Which of the 12 series you are in | Your number is checked only against that series |
| 6-digit number | Your ticket number | Prizes match all 6, the last 5 or the last 4 digits |
| Draw date | The day of the draw | A ticket wins only on its own date |
| Draw time | 03:00 PM IST | Other times usually mean another lottery |
| Back of the ticket | Claim period, address, documents | Missing a step can cost you the prize |
How do the digits work? Take an invented ticket, Future 615204, used only as an example. It wins the 1st prize if the sheet shows 615204. It wins the 2nd or 3rd prize if 15204 is printed there. It wins the 4th, 5th or 6th prize if 5204 is printed there.
One ticket takes one prize: the highest one it matches. So a ticket that matches the 1st prize is not paid the smaller prizes as well. Our step-by-step guide to reading the result walks through more examples and the mistakes people make most.

The six prize tiers in every series
Every series pays the same six prizes, and this structure has held on every day in our archive. The more digits you match, the bigger the prize.
| Prize | Digits matched | Winning numbers | Amount |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1st Prize | All 6 | 1 | ₹1,00,000 |
| 2nd Prize | Last 5 | 1 | ₹7,000 |
| 3rd Prize | Last 5 | 10 | ₹3,500 |
| 4th Prize | Last 4 | 10 | ₹200 |
| 5th Prize | Last 4 | 10 | ₹100 |
| 6th Prize | Last 4 | 100 | ₹50 |
Added up, the prizes in one series come to ₹1,50,000. Most of that is the single 1st prize. The 6th prize has the most winning numbers, but each one is small. The full prize guide covers the odds of each tier, tax and claims in depth.
The chance of the 1st prize in one series, for one ticket, is 1 in 10,00,000, because there are ten lakh possible 6-digit numbers and only one wins. That is why no one should treat a lottery ticket as a plan for money.
Where to see the Assam State Lottery result
The result is published at 03:00 PM, and the numbers usually reach the public result lists in the half hour after that. Our system reads those lists every minute around the draw and stores each sheet with the time it first appeared.
The quickest way to see the numbers is the home page of Assam Lottery Result, which shows all twelve series of the newest draw. The latest stored draw is of 7 November 2026. Our archive runs from January 2025, with some months where the public lists we read carry nothing, and every stored day has a page of its own.
On draw days you can also follow the live result board. It is not a video of the draw. It fills series by series as the numbers appear on the result lists, so you can see each card land without refreshing.
If you hold a ticket, the ticket checker compares your number with every series of a chosen date. You can type it, paste a list, check a bundle of consecutive numbers or read the number from a photo. Always compare the result with your ticket yourself as well.
What happens on a draw day
A draw day has a simple rhythm. In the morning and early afternoon, tickets for that day’s twelve series are on sale where selling is legal. At 03:00 PM the draw takes place. Soon after, the winning numbers of each series start to appear on the public result lists, usually one series after another rather than all at once.
For you, the useful part starts after 03:00 PM. Give the numbers a little time to appear, then check your ticket against its own series. If a series is not in yet, wait and check again later instead of trusting a number someone forwards to you.
Our site keeps the newest draw on the home page and moves every earlier day into the archive. So a ticket from last week is as easy to check as one from today: open the results by date, choose the day printed on the ticket, and read the sheet of your series.
It also helps to keep your own small record. Note the series, the date and the number of each ticket you hold, or save them on your phone in the My tickets list. When the result comes in, you only need to compare, and you are less likely to lose track of an older ticket that won a small prize.
The law: each state decides
In India, lotteries run by states are governed by the Lotteries (Regulation) Act, 1998. Under that law, each state decides whether lottery tickets may be sold inside its borders. Some states allow them. Some ban them completely.
Tamil Nadu is one example: it has banned lotteries since 2003. Buying or selling lottery tickets where they are banned is illegal, even if the draw takes place in another state. A ticket printed for another state’s draw does not become legal in a state that bans lotteries.
Rules can also differ on who may sell, where and how. If you are not certain about the law in your state, ask a local official first. We do not encourage anyone to buy tickets, and we never sell them.
Assam State Lottery online: what to watch for
Many people look for a way to play the Assam State Lottery online. This site sells nothing — no tickets, no “online entries”, no memberships. You can read the result here, check a ticket you already hold and set alerts. That is all.
Be very careful with any website, app or person that offers “online tickets” for this draw. You usually cannot check who runs it, whether it is legal where you live, or whether a prize would ever be paid. Some take money and vanish. Others show a fake “win” to make you pay a “processing fee”.
A simple test: a real ticket is a printed paper slip with its rules on the back. An offer that gives you no paper ticket, no seller you can visit and no printed rules deserves suspicion. Never send money by UPI, wallet or bank transfer to a stranger who promises a ticket or a win.
Claims and tax on winnings
The claim rules are printed on the back of the ticket. They tell you the claim period, the address and the documents you need. Those usually include the original ticket, an ID, an address proof, bank details and photos. Follow what your ticket says, because the printed rules are the ones that count.
Keep the ticket undamaged. Do not fold it across the number, laminate it or write on it, and do not sign it until the claim form asks you to. Take photos of both sides for your own record. We cannot claim a prize for anyone.
Tax is cut from big prizes. Indian income-tax law deducts 30% tax at source, plus cess, from lottery winnings above ₹10,000. The ₹1,00,000 1st prize is above that limit, so it is paid after the deduction. The 2nd prize of ₹7,000 and every smaller prize are below it. For small prizes, check with the seller where the ticket was bought legally; sellers often handle those.
Scams that use the lottery’s name
Wherever there is a lottery, there are people who try to profit from it unfairly. The tricks repeat, so it helps to know them. The table below lists the common signs.
| What you see | Real or scam? | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| “You won! Pay a fee or tax first to release the prize” | Always a scam | Stop replying; report it |
| A “leaked” or “fixed” number for sale | Scam — nobody knows the number before the draw | Ignore and block |
| A result image forwarded in a group | Can be edited or fake | Compare with the full sheet for that date |
| An app selling “online tickets” | High risk; often fake | Do not pay; check the law in your state |
| Tax deducted from a big prize when you claim | Normal under income-tax law | Keep the papers you are given |
If someone has asked you for money to release a prize, or you think you have been cheated, call the cyber-fraud helpline 1930 or report it at cybercrime.gov.in. Do it quickly: early reports have a better chance of stopping a payment.

Play safe

The Assam State Lottery in short
The Assam State Lottery runs twelve series every day at 03:00 PM, each with six prizes and 132 winning numbers. A ticket wins on its own series and date, by matching all 6, the last 5 or the last 4 digits, and it takes only its highest prize.
Big wins are taxed, claims follow the rules on the back of the ticket, and no real lottery asks you to pay to release a prize. Each state decides whether tickets may be sold, so check your state’s law first. This site sells nothing; it only shows the numbers and helps you read them.
