How to Check Assam Lottery Result: Step by Step
Updated · Assam Lottery Result

This guide shows how to check Assam lottery result sheets by hand, one prize at a time, with made-up examples for every prize. You will learn which digits to compare, the mistakes that make people miss a win or believe a false one, and what to do if your ticket really has won.
How to check Assam lottery result in five steps
Have your ticket in your hand before you start. Everything you need is printed on it: the series name, the draw date and the 6-digit number. Then follow these steps in order.
- Read the series and date on the ticket. The series is a name such as Dear, Kuil or Thangam. The date is the draw date, not the day you bought it.
- Open the result of that date. For today, use the board after 03:00 PM. For an earlier day, open the stored day page.
- Find the sheet of your series. Every series has its own sheet with six prizes. Ignore the other eleven.
- Compare the right digits. All 6 for the 1st prize, the last 5 for the 2nd and 3rd, the last 4 for the 4th, 5th and 6th.
- Confirm before you celebrate. Check the match again, then confirm it against the printed official result.
For today's numbers, start at today's result board. For a ticket from an earlier draw, the results by date keep one page for every stored day with all 12 sheets.
Checking by hand is good to understand, but it is slow with many numbers. If you prefer, the ticket checker does all five steps in one tap and highlights the matched number on the sheet. Knowing how to check Assam lottery result sheets yourself still helps: you can confirm what any tool tells you.
Checking for a parent or a friend? Ask them to read the series, date and number to you, or send a clear photo of the front of the ticket. Then follow the same steps. Never ask for the ticket itself to be sent to you, and never send yours to anyone who offers to check it.

The six prizes and the digits they use
Before you learn how to check Assam lottery result sheets, learn the prizes. Every series pays the same six prizes on every stored day. The higher the prize, the more digits must match. All matching is done from the right-hand end of your number.
| Prize | Digits compared | Numbers on the sheet | Amount |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1st Prize | All 6 | 1 | ₹1,00,000 |
| 2nd Prize | Last 5 | 1 | ₹7,000 |
| 3rd Prize | Last 5 | 10 | ₹3,500 |
| 4th Prize | Last 4 | 10 | ₹200 |
| 5th Prize | Last 4 | 10 | ₹100 |
| 6th Prize | Last 4 | 100 | ₹50 |
The 1st and 2nd prizes are a single number each. The 3rd, 4th and 5th prizes are lists of ten. The 6th prize is a long list of one hundred 4-digit numbers. That long list is where most real wins happen, and also where most people stop reading too early.
One more rule: a ticket takes only the highest prize it matches in its series. The prizes do not add up. If you want the full picture of amounts, tax and claim steps, the prize money and claims guide covers it.
Worked examples for every prize
The tickets below are invented to show how to check Assam lottery result sheets. None of these numbers is a real result. Each row shows a made-up ticket, the part that matters and where it would have to be printed for that prize.
| Your ticket | Number to look for | Where it must be printed | Prize |
|---|---|---|---|
| 305718 | 305718 | printed as the 1st prize | 1st Prize · ₹1,00,000 |
| 627441 | 27441 | printed as the 2nd prize | 2nd Prize · ₹7,000 |
| 918060 | 18060 | one of the ten 3rd prizes | 3rd Prize · ₹3,500 |
| 154392 | 4392 | one of the ten 4th prizes | 4th Prize · ₹200 |
| 770205 | 0205 | one of the ten 5th prizes | 5th Prize · ₹100 |
| 236918 | 6918 | one of the hundred 6th prizes | 6th Prize · ₹50 |
1st prize
Say your ticket is 305718. Only an exact match of all six digits, in the same order, wins the 1st prize. A printed 305719 or 305178 would not count for you, even though most of the digits are the same.
2nd prize
Say your ticket is 627441 and the 2nd prize is printed as 27441. The last five digits of your ticket are 27441. They match, so you win the 2nd prize. The first digit of your ticket plays no part.
3rd prize
Say your ticket is 918060. Take the last five digits, 18060, and look through the ten 3rd prize numbers. If it is one of them, you win the 3rd prize. Notice the zero at the end: it counts like any other digit.
4th and 5th prizes
Say your ticket is 154392. Take the last four digits, 4392, and look through the ten 4th prizes, then the ten 5th prizes. With 770205, the ending is 0205: the zero at the front of the ending is part of it, so a printed 205 or 2050 is not the same.
6th prize
Say your ticket is 236918. Its ending 6918 must appear among the hundred 6th prize numbers. Read the whole list, row by row, and keep your finger on the ending so you do not lose your place. If you hold many tickets, this is the list where a checker saves the most time.
No prize
Say your ticket is 482915. If 482915 is not the 1st prize, 82915 is not the 2nd or a 3rd prize, and 2915 is not in the 4th, 5th or 6th lists, the ticket has not won in that series. That is the most common result by far.
Practise on a real sheet
Now try it on the latest stored Dear sheet, from 7 November 2026. The table shows the first number of each prize and how many numbers that prize has. Pick any 6-digit number and see which rows you would need to read. Practice on a real sheet is the easiest way to learn how to check Assam lottery result numbers with no pressure.
| Prize | First number printed | Numbers in this prize | Amount |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1st Prize | 993973 | 1 | ₹1,00,000 |
| 2nd Prize | 29875 | 1 | ₹7,000 |
| 3rd Prize | 06641 | 10 | ₹3,500 |
| 4th Prize | 2159 | 10 | ₹200 |
| 5th Prize | 0849 | 10 | ₹100 |
| 6th Prize | 0045 | 100 | ₹50 |
The full sheet, with every number of every prize, is on the day page for 7 November 2026. Open it, pick your series and walk through the prizes from the top. That is exactly how to check Assam lottery result sheets on any day.
A good habit is to check in the same order every time: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, then the three 4-digit lists. Say the digits you are looking for out loud, or write them on paper. It sounds simple, but it stops most mistakes before they happen.
Common mistakes and how to avoid them
Most wrong answers come from a handful of mistakes. Knowing them is half of knowing how to check Assam lottery result sheets well.
| Mistake | What goes wrong | How to avoid it |
|---|---|---|
| Wrong series | A match in Lion is read for a Singam ticket | Read only the sheet named on your ticket |
| Wrong date | Yesterday’s sheet is checked for today’s ticket | Match the draw date printed on the ticket |
| 2nd prize read as a full number | A 5-digit 2nd prize is compared with all 6 digits | Compare only your last 5 digits |
| Stopping early in the 6th prize | A win in the long list of 100 is missed | Read the full list, or use the checker |
| Matching the wrong end | The first 4 digits are compared instead of the last 4 | Always count from the right |
| Mixing up lotteries | A Lottery Sambad result is read for an Assam ticket | Check that the draw is the 03:00 PM Assam draw |
The series mix-up is the most common one. Singam means lion in Tamil, but Singam and Lion are two separate series with separate numbers. Swarnalaxmi and Thangam both point to gold, and they are also separate. The guide to the twelve series lists every name.
The lottery mix-up is close behind. Lottery Sambad is a different lottery, with draws at other times and tickets printed with a series code and five digits, such as 84K 48361. If your ticket looks like that, it is not an Assam ticket. Our page on telling the two lotteries apart shows the difference.
Dates trip people up too. Tickets and most result lists write dates as day.month.year, so the first two digits are the day and the next two are the month. Read the date slowly, and check the weekday if it is printed.
Confirm against the printed official result
The last step of how to check Assam lottery result sheets is confirmation. Any screen can be wrong, including ours. A number can be typed wrongly on a public list, and a fake result image can look very real. So before you treat a match as a win, confirm it against the printed official result for that draw. That is the copy the claim office checks every claim against.
Be careful with result pictures and PDF files shared in groups. Some are old, some are edited, and some are made to push people towards "tips". Our page on saving a clean result PDF explains how to spot a fake one.
If two places show different numbers, wait and compare again later, and trust the printed result. Any guide on how to check Assam lottery result numbers, this one included, ends with that rule. We fix mistakes as soon as we find them, but the printed official result always prevails.

What to do if your ticket won
First, stay calm and keep the ticket safe. It is your only proof. Keep it flat and dry, away from water and heat, and do not fold, cut or write on it. Do not sign it until the claim form asks you to.
Next, read the back of the ticket. The claim rules are printed there: how long you have to claim, where to send or take the claim, and which documents you need. Usually that means the original ticket, an ID, address proof, bank details and photos. Keep photocopies of the front and back for your own record.
Then think about tax. Winnings above ₹10,000 have 30% tax (plus cess) deducted at source, so a 1st prize of ₹1,00,000 is paid after that deduction. The 2nd prize of ₹7,000 and all smaller prizes are below that limit.
Finally, never pay a fee to anyone. A real prize is never released for money. If someone calls or messages about your prize and asks for payment, it is a scam; report it at cybercrime.gov.in or on 1930. We cannot claim a prize for anyone and we never contact winners. Knowing how to check Assam lottery result sheets yourself protects you here: you can test any claimed win in a minute.

Play safe
Checking a result is free, everywhere. Nobody needs your bank PIN, an OTP or a fee to tell you whether you won. Under the Lotteries (Regulation) Act, 1998 each state decides whether lotteries are allowed; where they are banned, buying a ticket is illegal. Spend only what you can afford to lose.

Checking questions
How to check Assam lottery result for my ticket quickly?
Type the 6-digit number into the ticket checker and pick the draw date. It compares your number with every prize of all 12 series and shows any win with its amount.
How to check Assam lottery result for an old ticket?
Open the old results by date and pick the draw date printed on the ticket. Each stored day has all 12 sheets. You can also choose that date in the ticket checker. Check the claim period on the back of the ticket too, because old prizes cannot be claimed forever.
Which digits of my ticket should I compare?
All 6 digits for the 1st prize, the last 5 digits for the 2nd and 3rd prizes, and the last 4 digits for the 4th, 5th and 6th prizes. Always count from the right-hand end.
Why is the 2nd prize only 5 digits long?
Because the 2nd prize is paid on the last 5 digits. It is not a ticket number with a missing digit. Any ticket in that series whose last 5 digits match it wins the 2nd prize.
Can one ticket win two prizes?
No. A ticket takes only the highest prize it matches in its series. If the last 5 digits win a 3rd prize, the 6th prize match of the same ticket does not add to it.
My number matches in another series. Did I win?
No. Each series is its own draw. Your ticket only counts in the series printed on it, on the date printed on it.
Where is the printed official result?
It is the result issued for the draw itself, and the claim office checks every claim against it. If any screen, including ours, differs from it, the printed result is right.
Is tax cut from my prize?
Only above ₹10,000. Winnings above that amount have 30% tax (plus cess) deducted at source, so the 1st prize is paid after that deduction. The 2nd prize and lower prizes are below the limit.
Someone says I won and must pay a fee. What should I do?
Do not pay. A real prize never needs a fee to be released. Stop replying and report it on the cyber-fraud helpline 1930 or at cybercrime.gov.in.
